What’s this?! An update> On time? IMPOSSIBLE.

My biggest regret about this whole sequence is that I never got to include a wide establishing shot of the area in which this portal popped up. It’s actually in the front parking lot of a local grocery store called PTGF. This is short for Place To Get Food, though most folks in Whateverland just refer to the store as “Petey’s” (from P.T.).

Even though these panels were drawn almost two years ago, I can still recall the boundless frustration I felt while trying to draw Leech’s mouth in panel four. I eventually had to give up, as my repeated erasures and frenzied pencil-scratchings had worn almost clear through the drawing paper.

On this page, we see that, despite often acting as a voice of (relative) reason, Leech is not entirely above the occasional shenanigans after all…so long as Mitch is there to goad her into it.

This page is in serious need of tweaking, but I’m in a bit of a hurry.
