Ah, this page. I liked the latter panel of last week’s page because the style was evolving towards what you see here. This is because I drew both pages over the course of one night, and the later I stay up, the less inhibited I am when drawing. In my sleep-deprived state, I’ll usually lose track of time and just go to town on one or two panels in particular. (There is at least one other page in the archives where this has obviously happened.)
Crazy hair-tentacles aside, I’m still quite pleased with this page.

We’re fast approaching the end of the old-comics buffer. Expect maybe a slight hiccough in the schedule (but don’t panic!) in a week or so.

Good lord, that hair.

The main intent of this prologue was to introduce Mitch. Leech, and how they relate to each other in as little time as possible. (While raising a few questions about them along the way.) I love how obnoxious Mitch is here, even when he’s being nice. To be fair, Leech is probably overreacting about the whole portal thing.
