So, bubblegum goth. Well, there isn't a wiki entry on this, so here's my take on it.
It is goth, but sometimes people wear pink with their black.
Feel educated yet? Because thats kinda all I have. Its a sub-genre of goth, but it has more colour. Also, more wacky hairstyles. You will often get bubblegum goth crossing over into steamgoth or CosGoth. Its still totally valid. But (again, conjecture) my understanding is that the main dark-goth community is a bit apprehensive about bubblegum.
All that said, if you are young, think you are trans*, and want a way to experiment that won't freak anyone out? GO GOTH! Maybe not bubblegum like Toni, but goth absolutely works.

Oh, and for anyone out there who thinks every metal/whatever band is anti-gay? Listen to Faget by KoRn. You might not get it at first, but it is actually his celebration of being comfortable with sexuality, and the scorn he got from people around him in high school. Though he isn't gay, it speaks volumes.
