So, I don't really know ecstasy beyond what I've seen in documentaries. Yes, I watch documentaries on drugs. That's who I am. I'm an information whore. I love information. Wait, what was I talking about? Right. Ecstasy.
My understanding is that it makes people love EVERYTHING. They touch soft things, really enjoy movement, sound flows better. Basically its the best day of your life during the entire trip. At the same time, it means you have absolutely no idea what is a good idea or a bad idea. So if some random stranger asks you to have sex, HECK YEAH you want to.
Aside from the potentially to get easily molested, it should also be known that it can instantly kill you by causing a heart attack. Or slowly kill you over the trip by accelerating heart rate to the point of fibrilation or dysrhythmias. Do I really have to say it at this point? DON'T TAKE IT.
There are so many other ways to feel joy. Don't assume that you have to take a drug to do it. I feel profound joy when I open a bag of dill pickle chips and smell it for the first time. And when I hug my giant stuffed orca that I totally stole from my ex.
*finds joy* It took like about half an hour to hand-colour the celtic skirt in panel 3. That made me happy. I just listened to Smashing Pumpkins and zoned out drawing. Yay!
