Chatting with Mitch

I am, as of this page, exactly two months ahead. And that is with doing a few double and triple posts in the past.
This means that if I get sick, or they finally cage me, nobody will be at a loss for this comic, at least for a while.
I actually really like all of the art on this entire page. I just.. I got it right.
Frame 2 - lets talk about residual self image. This term was coined by the creators of The Matrix. It is the mental impression you have of how you look. So if you were to be jacked into a computer program, how would you see yourself? What would you be wearing?
Well, many of you may know that Lana Wachowski was under a different name an gender during the making of the Matrix trilogy. Did you also know that the character "Switch" was supposed to be a male in the real world, and a girl in the matrix? It was cut by the studio. The character's residual self image was being a girl. That's how she saw herself, even if it wasn't how the real world allowed at the time.
I bring this up because, oh my googly Toni, THATS your RSI? I mean, the shirt is nice, and I like the necklace, but BUY A HAIRBRUSH! Have you not looked in a mirror?! Whats going on there, like, 100% humidity? Seriously now! Take a little pride in your RSI!
Though its nice that your RSI is a girl in colour :)
So, Mitch is based on a mostly real person. Ok, the person is 100% real. A person can't be mostly real. That was poor sentence structure. Lets start over.
So, Mitch is mostly based on a real person. Nailed it. RMitch went to school with me through all of high school. He took the regular classes while I took international baccalaureate courses. But that didn't matter to either of us. Because when you talk to him, he understood everything anyone said to him, it just didn't apply academically.
Now, aside from being the nicest guy I have ever known, and still being my best friend, he had a special ability. Two, actually. The first ability was being able to punch, very lightly, and somehow target perfectly between the muscle to make it hurt more than you could conceive of. The important ability though, was what we called (name protected) "Mitch Moments". They occur when you are trying desperately to explain an incredibly complicated or difficult subject, and he summarizes it in two sentences or less. Every time it would happen, which was about once a month, everyone within earshot would literally stop what they are doing and just.. understand. It was as though the very beacon of knowledge lasered into your mind.
RMitch, wherever you are, I really miss you man. I hope you make it out to Vancouver this summer so we can hang out and talk about Fallout. I know I'm a chick now, but.. *bro-hug*
