I can guarantee that you have at least one person in your life that you don't back down against. No matter how much they try to slight you or get under your skin, you have a perfected solidity of a diamond.

Partially autobiographical - for whatever reason, I could always stand up to my brother. We butted heads like mad.
I'm 99% sure that if I had told him who I was, he would have helped me instead of been against me. If nothing else, he has proven that he still loves me - he wanted me to be in at the altar when he got married (think it was as a female best-man sort of deal). I declined, because I'm a frickin wuss, and I absolutely couldn't fathom the thought of ruining his day by people looking at me instead of him or the bride.
My thoughts are this - you would be surprised who will be your strongest supporter.
Bro, I know you don't read this, but I love you. Thanks for being a jerk when I needed it, and thanks for being a big brother when I needed it more.
