I suppose the phrase "Im trying so hard just to keep myself here" should be explained.
Toni doesn't mean physically. She means mentally and spiritually. Emotionally. When you are physically assaulted by strangers and then verbally abused and treated as a second class citizen? I could imagine how difficult it would be to even get out of bed. Not only did Toni get out of bed, she came to therapy. She is working as hard as she can to be a person, a whole person, but today its nearly impossible to be anything but empty.

Ever have one of those talks where everything you say just goes badly, and you step on ALL the toes?
Hmmm… everyone is supposed to know the details of Toni, right? So has Toni told Lexi about Vic? Or Sophie? Will Julie? Can you IMAGINE what would happen if Sophie found out?! That guy would be smush! Smush in a tight black t-shirt!
