Last of the old pages. Scout's honour. This page in many ways is the turning point for this story. From here on out things are going to get darker and a little more chaotic. That being said, I still stand strongly by the idea that the angsty hero has been majourly overdone in our world today but that doesn't mean I can't create my own apocalyptic world =D
I would also like to take this moment to point out that despite where this story is about to turn… and despite the decisions the government's going to make in the story, I DO have a lot of love and respect for my country. The freedoms and rights you get here are amazing (free health care anyone?) and I think we've made a lot of right choices over the years. That being said there are also some things Canadians do wrong… and I see that. Sometimes being patriotic isn't about yelling "CANADA'S THE BEST! CANADA IS PERFECT! I SERVE CANADA!" but having the guts to show people "Hey… we have a history of problems in ____ _____ and ______ and if we don't do anything about this ______ will happen!" Because you do care about your country and want to protect it and make it better.
Anyways that disclaimer said. I hope you enjoy where this story's about to go. I'm about to touch on some pretty deep subject matter and some pretty controversal issues so this should either make or break this comic. All in all though, it's going to be quite the ride and hope I can have you all with me to show just why I made Wireless as the first modern day Canadian Superhero!
