Yeah, I'm just trying to help people to remember that this comic is still being produced. Regular updates (bumped up to three times per week, set your schedules accordingly now, please) will resume on August 6, 2007, because that's a druid holiday or sumpthin'.

Anyway, in this episode, JW has to confront some guys while he's carrying a sword. Why? Well, you'll just have to wait until next month to find out.

Also, there will be a beheading in this issue. Of whom, I will not say. However, I absolutely, positively refuse to do anything on Witchthorn (or pretty much anything else, for that matter) that a parent would not be happy letting an 8 year old read. A normal parent. Not one who's into, y'know, beheadings and stuff.

I always thought the old Alfred Hitchcock type of scary movies were much more effective than the newer slash-porn stuff. I remember being in "the movies" when I was little and we were watching a Hitchcock movie – you could torture me but I would not be able to tell you which one it is, because I was that young – and people in the theater were screaming to the actress on the movie screen "Don't open the door!" and "Run!". Not a drop of fake blood was spilled either but the folks who bought tickets were jumping out of their seats.

Anyway, I'm old, and I tire easily. Enjoy this page, I hope I hope.
