One of the things I’m trying to work on at my job is communicating more with the producers of the games we’re localizing. J is this Korean guy who is unusual among our producers in that he’s taken the initiative to talk to me extensively about what he wants localization-wise for the game he’s in charge of. He also has this habit—and I’m wondering if it’s a Korean thing or just a J thing—of bringing a little candy every time he talks to you. One day we were up against a deadline for the game and I got five different pieces of candy.
