Rina_ran onFinally getting to draw Darthen again! whee! I like drawing him because he has my two favorite things to draw: Wings and pointy ears. And he's even fun to color since I don't have many blue haired characters to color. (course…this isn't a colored comic. XD )
Think this game needs a bit of an explanation…
How to play the game those two are playing:
It's rather like a combination of chess and hockey. Chess as in the huge chess pieces being played on the board…hockey as in the puck being bashed back and forth at each other.
The game starts off with a chess move, afterwards followed by a slap of the puck.
The goal of the one who hit the puck is to make it past their opponent, thus earning them a point.
If interceived, the opponent then announces a move of their chess piece followed by a return of the puck. Same goal and points apply.
If the puck makes it across, the opponent can move a chess piece, but the puck goes back to the one who earned the points. Fouls are if the puck goes off the side of the board. Then it is the one who didn't hit the puck's turn to start a turn.
Bouncing the puck off the chess pieces is allowed and sometimes recommended. It makes it harder for the opponent to keep up with where the puck will come through.
Additionally, beings with the ability to control some sort of force, may add power to the puck. This of course can boost the speed of the puck's travel or even break an opponents defence when they try to catch it.
i.e. Sensei's using wind for speed and Darthen using lightening for obvious power.
To win the game.
-Checkmate the opponent. As if playing normal chess.
-Accumalate as many points as the game is being played for. i.e. if the game was to be played up to 10 points.
-Opponent is too tired to continue. That's a large area to cover, running back and forth while deflecting and hitting…ya…I say that's tiresome.
Not Just for Fun
This game is good training that can be played in the air or on the ground. It works out runners and flyers alike.
It teaches players to think quick about their "next move", angles of projectiles, and helps them practice any elemental type power they may have.
Warning: Injuries may occur. Game suited for children 21 and up and should have some idea of what the heck they're doing. XD (But who ever listens to the age recommendations or heck…warnings?)
——————————
If that doesn't make the game clear…then I'll find some time to reorganize it much better.
I think the lightening effects came out rather nice. The effect was easy, but drawing with a mouse never is. T_T Unless you're super talented with one like my friend ILty.
Ok okz…well…I'm back in school again. I say…it's weird being up the whole time there's light out. heh heh…everyday…wake up at 6-something and then bed at….er…sometime after the sunset. I haven't really been "sleeping" lately it seems. I just lie on my bed and think for hours and hours. Can't sleep!
Arg, ah wellz. Do enjoy this page! I start drawing Darthen and Mioga even better as the pages go by. Now…I need to get physics and calculus homework done…
