Velouhiotis explains the morale and real stakes of this operation.

This dialogue has been documented by eye witness accounts. In reality, there were a couple more people in the room, namely Aris’ second. Possibly, also someone from Napoleon Zervas, who was aware of this discussion. However, I honestly wanted to depict the important parties only.

Another fact is that while Zervas was an actual army general, Velouhiotis wasn’t. He assumed that title anyway strictly for morale purposes. Everyone addressed him like that even if they knew he wasn’t.
