And here is the start of chapter 3! I know I promised two pages, but somehow this one took much more time than I thought it would. I promise to get you the other one tomorrow or the day after that.

Finally, the entrance to the COVEN! (I do hope everyone gets the um, title on the door?) And Mr. Fiens tugged his tie off! Heh!

nigellashade: Thank you so much! Zoe is beyond tired at this point (remember, she had begun her day at 3 am… it's still the same day from the beginning of chapter 2!) and her emotions are strong when it comes both to the virus (we still don't know how she got infected) and to getting any serum to combat it. So it would be either laughter at Fiens' business-like handling of the situation, or lashing out with her hands at him ;)

Mark: um… I take that is good? I've never seen/read invader zim.


Freakeh: Thanks! I like the laughter too. Heh. And Mr. Fiens' reaction is indeed, rather extreme for his range- he is usually rather cool. But he too is playing with high stakes, even if we don't yet know it.

Luminous: Oooo yeah. And today we actually get right up to its… *eerie music* DOOR!

Pink Diapers: Thanks! I think so too- if the background/setting is more or less set and clearcut as to where the character is, I think it's much better to focus on the character and what is going in his/her head.

Michael T: Thank you! Zoe is assertive exactly because the guy is reliable ;) and she knows he is much more than he lets on. We have yet to find out whether your instinct regarding the toff is accurate. Heh.
