Okay I've never read Pride and Prejudice, and I never finished reading Twilight (but I saw the movie to make fun of it… wasn't hard to do…) but I know enough to know that OUR STANDARDS HAVE VANISHED. I mean, setting aside physical appearance (though really, Edward is not sexy, not in the books and not in the films), Mr. Darcy was smarter, less creepy, and overall MUCH BETTER than Edward. I'm sorry, ladies. This needs to stop.
