The year was 2004. I was still pretending to be a man. I had bought a digital drawing pad for $25. It was the worst thing imaginable. I had to press so hard, it made my hand hurt to use it. At the time, I was making a podcast called "The Law of the Jungle" and armed with this new technology and a $20, 0.3 megapixel camera, I started taking pictures of things I thought were funny. I spoke about them in the podcast and marked them up with funny words or drawings.
My friends would only look at the pictures.
That's when I had the idea to start my own comic. I planned on making it to the standard of art on the pictures I was defacing–which is to say, very, very poor. So I called the comic "The Worst Comic Ever," and I intended it to be something I did and didn't really care about. Six years later, I'm still caring about it.
Since I'm starting my comic up again, I thought that it would be interesting to post the best of the comics from my old site for people who haven't seen them. This is the 14th comic I drew. It is when I really started to care how it looked. I was unemployed, had to sell my laptop, and was upset I only got $20 for it. Enjoy.
