The Black Blade - page 12

When I first did this story (in 1982) it was inspired by the old Blue Oylster Cult song.  Which I now know but was not aware of was inspired by the stories of Elric of Melniboné and Stormbringer (created by Michael Moorcock).  Never heard of them or read them.  Guess I will have to seek them out.

Comments from the last page:

ghostrunner - Lol.
KimLuster - Shouldn't be.  He's turned to the darkside now.
MOrgan - Thanks.
El Cid - I have two and barely use either.
bravo1102 - "Three red stripes on the armor? This guy is an artillery sergeant?"  Nope, but I am aware of the color coded stripes & insigina of the U.S. Army (happy birthday for yesterday Army).  In this case it is decrative.  Originally, 1982 he had two stripes.  When I revamped the character I gave him three (I had three when I was a PO1 in the navy).

Thanks everyone for reading and commenting when you do.
