Hurricane Irma came throught Florida Sunday night.

We are safe.

My area has been extremely lucky. High winds, rain, lots of trees down. Could have been much worse. Big tree down on my front lawn (could have it house but didn't).

No power at my house when I left for work last night at 9PM. The power is coming back in the area, here and there, little by little. Houses across the street have power, now.

Saw a group of power / electric trucks staging at the corner store yesterday morning. None of them local (some from as far away as Canada).

Took this picture sitting with my room mate's kids trying to keep them calm.

Looks like there are monsters in the dark.
