What I did on my summer vacation...

Here is where I've been for the last week.

A cabin by a lake in Oklahoma.

Met my room mate's family. Enjoyed the fresh air. Went out on the lake boating. Walked and played with the youngsters on the beach.

Bit of a long drive for everyone. Stopped for the night up and back so it took two days each way.

Back safe and sound home now.

Rented a car for the trip. Don't buy a Ford Fusion hybrid. Good millage but all sorts of goof querks. The dang thing did not start twice (the steering wheel has to be aligned in a certain way or it will not start). Gas tank door refused to open twice (have no idea why - it's just a button on the door - indicator said it was opening). Drove down the road to next station and it worked. Oil light and engine light came on last few miles before turning the car in. More of a pain than anything….
