The middle of October already! What is everyone going to be for Halloween?

Hey, is anyone reading a gamer? My little 5yo buddy (soon to be six) likes Minecraft. She plays it at a friend's house. What is a cheap (or affordable - not necessarily cheap) way to get it for our house? How much are game consoles these days? Is it possible to get one that wouldn't endanger the budget?
