Windows 11 - lost abilities

To all windows 11 users, does it support memory sticks/cards? Or do you have to use an external card reader attached via USB (like a few years ago)?

Every time they "upgrade" something/create a new GUI we have to find work arounds to get features and capabilities we lost back.

This is all part of forcing us up onto the cloud. I don't want to go on the cloud. Not for everything all the time. I want back ups. I don't want all the negatives with the cloud.
