Daifuku really are pretty gross. This is coming from a person who just ate a mayonnaise-covered banana with grated cheddar all over it.
Don't believe me? PROVE ME WRONG. COME AND DO IT.

But! The tentacle monster does have squid tentacles, which are absolutely heavenly if fried up correctly. I have not tried fried rice dough, so the daifuku part might come out better after having been fried as well. I propose to try it!
