Okay, so I broke my 5-minute per panel rule on this one (yeah? YOU try drawing debris in negative space).

I see myself as a mad scientist. I’m a really creative guy, and I like to design and toy with gizmos, gadgets, and (ideally) things that go “BOOM.” I have a huge stack of drawings (my “Da Vinci Notebooks”), some of which are inane like this one, many of which are substantially less amusing but commercially viable.

The tall guy is my dear friend Mike, who can be relied upon to bring a stark, abjectly depressing logical view of whatever’s going on (if any of you have seen the TV show House, he’s like that, only evil).
