A big warm fuzzy thank you to our friend Midgey for the inspiration for this page! Thanks man ;0D

Actually, these last comics on weight loss have been therapeutic for me. Now, I'm not gonna whine & say "I've always struggled with my weight, feel bad for me" or anything. I used to be very athletic. But I was never trim and slim- even during HS when I played 6+ hours a day of street and school basketball. I have what you'd call a "thick" structure, and I weigh a lot more than I look like I do. Yes, it's probably more muscle… but I still would like to bring my weight down a bit- I'll admit I have a little gut I don't need to have!

I may be getting a little "T.M.I." with you guys, but I also have the added "fun" of thyroid disease (Graves Disease to be exact) which makes losing weight damn near impossible. Put it this way: 6 months of a very strict low-carb diet, 30 mins exercise a day yielded a 5 lb. GAIN. So, yes.. I relate well to this page… I am too sick of salads, so much so that I'd rather go hungry. I avoid carbs like the plague.. and when you get desperate enough, you'll look in bizarre places for a snack.

So, let's stay positive. Just for kicks, go ahead and list ONE favorite healthy alternative to junk food. Maybe we'll give each other some ideas on how to eat healthier in 2008 with out resorting to, say, dog biscuits. My favorite is carob chips: unsweetened chocolate alternative. Enough of the taste to get you by!

Giving you guys 1 more week for this!!!—-

Wanna be a Z&F Sponsor and have your banner posted up with the rest of the "cool" kids? Sure ya do! All you have to do is list in your comments (or PQ me) a FAVE Z&F page, and a LEAST FAVE page, starting from #50 and on. This will help me put together a solid submission to syndicates in the next couple months. Thanks peeps!
