Hell Ball

The essence of the Alpha Unit's primary attack – the Hell Ball – lies behind the reasoning seen in most fantasy universes. That is, if it's quick and successive, as in a rapid fire arrow attack for example, chances are that each little bolt will be casually deflected. See the Stormtrooper Effect. The inverse holds true: the longer one focuses on an attack, and the longer the target stands still within that attack, the more powerful it will be.

Hence, the Alpha Unit's Hell Ball is an attack that takes approximately thirty minutes to traverse as many metres, with the result being complete and utter annihilation.
