It has been my experience that you should never tell someone what not to do… because that's what they're going to do. When I was about 5 or six, on Devil's Night, my dad had the briliant idea to make a family affair out of egging the neighbor's house (because that's the kind of juvenile crap you do on devil's night).

So I have these eggs, and my dad says, "Now Paul." (Because my name's not really 'Randal') "whatever you do, don't hit the window… but if you do, don't run straight home, or they'll know who it was."…

Guess what I did… yep. (Incidentally, the neighbors were a crotchety old couple with the deserving surname of "Stiff". True story)

These single brick gags are fun to do every once in a while. If I was smart, they'd all be like this, because then I wouldn't ever have to take the time to build anything… but then where is the joy in that?
