I felt like building the Krabby Patty car from Spongebob… then I felt like entering it in a race. LDD doesn't have spongebob's head (though if you look at speed racer, they have Mr. Krab's torso… )

I guess this takes place before yesterday's strip… as you can see, Snake Oiler is still alive and intact.. (I needed all the race cars I had)

I've always been on the fence with religion and spirituality, leaning in the direction of "for"… (deciding I'd rather believe and be wrong, than not believe and be wrong.)

Today has swung me a little further towards "there is a god", as last night he clearly stated "Get that shit off my lawn!" Outside Cincinnati Ohio there is… was… a half statue of Jesus reaching for the heavens. (He looked like he was in quicksand reaching for a rope, so I call him Quicksand Jesus) You may have heard of this statue… Many people called it Touchdown Jesus or Big Butter Jesus. (I don't watch football, so that name never occurred to me, but I will attest that he actually did look like he was made out of butter)

At any rate, whatever you called it… it was struck by lightning last night and burned to the ground. I'm almost sorry to see him go… he was a great source of amusement, despite being just about one of the tackiest things I've seen in this country (and I've seen a lot of this country)

now if lightning can just take out that log cabin arch in Nebraska…
