The title is part of an Ozzy song (Ozzy and the Grim Reaper seem to go hand in hand). The comic is a tribute to Terry Pratchett's Discworld books, which I recently began reading. I do believe these books are also where Ronson's brother Spang! gets his Drunk Duck screen name. One of my favorite bits so far is that, in the course of being taught how to play bridge, the other three horsemen of the apocalypse are catching on much quicker than Death is.
