I have tried to read this volume on more than one occasion. If you have ever read LOTR and thought, "Okay, I've read the three books, I've read the hobbit, I want more. Ooh. The Silmarillion."… unless you find the old testament to be a gripping page turner, you will use this book as a cure for insomnia.
