Asi, los humanos y los dioses lograron replegar a los demonios denuevo a las puertas de las que salieron, llamadas "tartaros" y las sellaron. Pero todo el mundo termino en ruinas por la guerra, por lo que los dioses decidieron quedarse en la tierra, además de por el miedo a que en algún momento el sello de los tartaros de rompa y se desate otro ragnarok. Se llevaron a los humanos a una gigantesca ciudad dividida por pisos, llamada Samsara. Así, pasaron 100 años en la actualidad, toda la humanidad se vio replegada al Samsara, gobernados por los dioses y sus bendecidos.
