i usually don't do -author's notes- because i think they're obnoxious ("i was gonna do blah, but i decided to draw bleh.." who cares?), but i wanted to explain the inspirado for this one. on the plane ride home we hit some pretty serious turbulence, definately the harshest i've ever felt. really only one good jolt, which prompted the woman across the isle from me to shreik for the j-man's help on all of our behalf. then, for the rest of the trip the slightest bump would illicit further cries, making me really fucking nervous. do we really have to get jesus involved? i think the pilot has got it.. also, having recently seen the new superman movie with the wild 3D plane crash scene, i was already on edge.

anyway, on the comic itself, why is jesus's secret identity um, jesus? i dont' know. that's why i have to do a daily comic; if i think about my ideas too much i realize how stupid they are and then won't do them.

and while i'm on a note roll.. jesus's super pose is pretty much 'invincible' from the cover of 'marvel team up' #14. sue me. (don't really. i don't have any money.)
