i sort of cheated on this one, can't quite figure how to do night with watercolor, so i added a sky underneath the watercolor with good o' photoshop. still not exactly as i might have imagined.

the idea then becomes this. i've got dozens of stories, most have some place in the eliada 'world'. and i'd like the chance to fiddle with them without the stress of multiple comics (since i tend to just pick one, or none anyway). further, i didn't feel like the comic was giving me a chance to produce any manner of quality art, seeing as how i was just working from page to page and doing all these tiny little panels. story moves slow, and all of it just felt thrown together in order to get an update. anyway, the sequential bit may suffer now, less panels and whatnot, but hopefully more time dedicated to backgrounds, poses, costume detail, dialogue.. spellchecking… so on so forth. try it for a while and see what happens.
