"Yo!" from the Last Frontier!

Posted at

Hiya. I'm a member on alot of different forums. Mostly I just toot my own horn and plead for validation, but hopefully I'll think of something more interesting to converse about with you fine folks. I suppose I'm making the assumption that you are, indeed, "fine folks." I should admit the possibility of error. I've been wrong about such things before, but I suppose I must plow ahead on faith.

Forgive my hesitation, but things are not always as they seem. I, for instance, live in Alaska, yet I don't live in an igloo or ride a dog sled to work. Bizarre, I know. I have no explanation. And why is Alaska so cold, what with being located just east of Hawaii and all?

The world is full of peculiarities. Myself included. Well, see you all around :)

Hardly anything. A few tiny towns and villages. I'm in Fairbanks, not far from the arctic circle, and the farthest north settlement in the Americas worth mentioning. Plus I live on the north side of town. However, were I to take you literally, letsee… too overcast to see the aurora, but there is a Cessna. Looks like a Caravan or some variation.

What kind of god-blessed rig are you running in that avatar?

Yes, I'm rather proud of her. She's a shadow of her former self however. She's down to two screens from five, and most of her lighting is packed up in the garage. I moved in with my girlfriend you see. For some reason she objects to my computer enveloping the whole of the livingroom :(

Don't feel too bad, my monster got eaten in a fire. (no it wasn't caused by overheating)
I'm personally down to one plain jane case with a single 21" monitor.

Not that anybody has been able to decipher.
It probably has some inside joke origin back in the hazy past,
but for now its seems to just be a gag line Dark clown uses to greet all newbies.
