I'm still a little new at this but until recently I've been to busy with my comic and the html, as well as other stuff, to actually introduce myself. I'd like to meet some more comic artists as well.

Well I'm an artist, but I can't upload my work, so I have other artists to draw for me. I still like to practice tho. So, welcome to the site! Sorta, I guess a welcoming to the forums? Well, you ever need some help, I'm good with Spriting at least.

Best of luck with the coding aspect of your comic. Sometimes I feel that's most difficult part to starting one up!

I checked out your site (and keep in mind, this is only feedback based on your site design alone), and the colors are a little too bright for my taste. I think you should have a more contrasting color for the forward/back buttons as well as the comments section.

The recurring background image is fine (and I'm sure you put some time into it), I'd just play around with a different color scheme!

Hope this helps.

Hi there! I'm not necessarily new, but I've never done this before so I thought why not xD;
I just started on my comic too, and the HTML was hard on me too =n=;
Anyways, welcome to DD!

Its times like this where I wish I had the better attention span to screw with HTML codes… Oh well, looks good tho mate! I wouldn't call myself an artist (sprite artist loosely maybe) but people have yet to leave bad scores on any of my pages so… At least I'm apparently good at what I do… I think… ya I have something of a low self esteem… damn high school years…

They mean HTML Codes, you notice how some of these comics have bland or layout backgrounds while others have cool lil gifs for the buttons and custom made backgrounds? Those are all thanks to HTML codes! I need to hunt some one down to help me make my own… I'm so sick of staring at black back grounds… well… Black around comic white around header… annoying…

Indeed, everyone using whatever that default template is does get a little bland. Though I have to say,the pre-made templates are rather nice too, but of course they're not going to fit every style of comic.

Also, Gaddick, I'd recommend checking out the Coding Help section of the forums! People have posted some rather nice templates that you can work with and customize your page. Though some knowledge of html and/or css is required if you want to modify it beyond just the color scheme.

I basically did this with my own strip, and I wouldn't mind helping out if you need a few pointers. :)

Even just posting in that forum will get you some substantial answers if you're stuck on something.
