Thread "If I held a fanart contest for last of the wilds?" in forum "Networking & Community Projects*"

So what I'm basically asking here is: If I held a fanart contest for last of the wilds, would anyone enter?

Much like with my last fanart contest (for my first comic, The Door) I can't offer much for prizes, but I will try to offer more than last time.

I was thinking the prizes could be like so:

1st place: Permanent link on my website, and a drawing of their choosing (within reason)

2nd place: A link in one update of each of my comics (that would be 3 links, as I have 3 comics right now) and a drawing of their choosing

3rd place: A drawing of their choosing.

Does that sound good or bad?

The entries, of course, would have to contain characters from my comic Last Of The Wilds, but could also contain the person's own characters if they wish :)

Sounds pretty cool, the prizes are nice. But when you say a drawing of your choosing. Do you mean specifically related to your comic? or like could the winner request a fan art right back?

I would enter but I'm so busy lately with work, moving house and keeping my comics going that I probably wont be able to, unfortunately.

Thanks for all the response, guys! :D

Asbin: A drawing completely of there own choosing; it can be related to my comic if they wished, or it could be a fanart of their own comic, or even something unrelated to either :) The only things I won't do are pornographic or highly violent things. Also, if they requested something that I felt I couldn't draw very well, I'd warn them off of it, but wouldn't outright refuse to do it.

Genejoke: Thanks for letting me know; it is a great comfort knowing before hand whether or not people may be interested. The first fanart contest I did I had no clue who or how many people would enter lol

Harkovast: Aw, that's alright! I can fully understand that. Still, it's nice to know you were interested :D
