Looking for someone to just do the outlines in my drawings

Posted at

Well, as you can see by some of my work (see below) my drawings when scanned in don't look that good since it's a rubbish scanner. What I'm asking for is for someone to just do the outlines, like I send you the scanned drawings and you do the outlines for the people.

Here is a sample of my art:

If someone is interested, post here and I'm sorry since I'm not able to repay anyone if they do it

Get an ultra-thin sharpie or an micron pen and learn to ink. It's a useful thing to know how to do.

Yeah, microns are nice. I wouldn't use sharpies, though. They bleed through the paper and make your lines look fuzzy.

I usually do ink my drawings, I got quite a good pen for it but it mainly the 'paper' effect that I absoloutly hate, but with the rubbish scanner I use it's impossible to get rid of. That's actually the reason why I'm asking for someone to outline them

You cant just use the picture straight from the scanner, you got to work a bit with it.

Add some brightness and contrast to the scanned pages and it should look just fine.

i wouldnt suggest sharpies solely because i use them, and they get clogged with microscopic amounts of pencil lead, even with photoblue leads.

im considering using real inks.

while im dreaming, i'd also like a pony.

Vega X: I've tried that, but the scanner I use doesn't have those settings. It's so annoying. I've tried hundreds of different things (actually, more like 5) but non of them get anything close to what I want. I can't realy work with it since I got paint, or else it'll take hours just to end the 'paper' effect.

I guess I'll have to wait until the good scanner is fixed, but thanks everyone fr trying to help ^_^

Dude, you need to work on your drawings first. Your construction is way off and an inker would be confused by your artwork. Do figure drawings more. Study from life around you or get some useful books on the subject where you can learn the art of human character construction, using proper proportioning, etc..

All you need is the inking? I've helped you out in the past, so maybe I can help you for a little bit again. I can't exactly tell you how long I'll be able to do it, but I should be able to ink for you for a few weeks.

And I repeat: I Do ink my comic, I just haven't inked this one. I've learned proportions, this is a bit of my older work, and The reason I want someone to do something like that is because when I scan my images in, it looks too papery and I don't have enough patience to edit it in paint since that is nearly impossible.

p.s. I don't need an inker. I've got it covered

Get Photoshop. Or if that's too expensive get Gimp. Both of these editors can get rid of the "paper effect".
