Hmm… well to sum it up: A friend hosts her comic on this site, so I thought I'd poke around a tad. I plan on using some of the excellent tutorials you guys have posted, as well as check out the comics. I have a few questions… is there any place for guidelines on what you can and cannot do with your comic?

Yeah, I know. Some really good stuff hidden away in there. I do have another few questions, kinda of the base of what I was asking before.
I'm not plugging or anything, since I really doubt I would put up anything here. (I'd be ashamed. :D)
But I really don't know squat about the webcomic community in general. The way I write involves some cuss words, would the be allowed if I ever did? For instance.
"Hey wait up!"
"D**nit."
"I found myself wielding my butterknife. The human mind does some strange stuff when it's scared sh*tless."
That kind of thing. Nothing sailor like, but the occasional cussword, In my opinion adds to the comic (it being of the somewhat dark variety. And the main charectors being of the ornery variety.)
Next question.
You said no stealing? My comic isn't as much a comic as it is a fan-fiction. By that I mean its an elaborate story set in someone elses' universe, and using their game engine, I just tell it in comic format. (using various screenshots.)
Like I said, I have no plans of putting it up (I'm not very far, only ten pages in. Plus its not as fleshed out as I'd like.) but I was wondering if something like that would be allowed with the proper credits? Or is it seen as lazy since I'm not actually drawing it myself? Sorry to bother!
Pretty much what Shplane said… you can practically say anything (although, that is Shplane talking and he gets away with everything).
I assassinated Kennedy. The government KNOWS that I did. They put that other guy in prison entirely as a cover up so that I nothing could be done to me.
