Some of you might remember I used to do my own webcomic, Discount City, but the workload was heavier than my available time. Now I'm interested in restarting it, but I was wondering how I should go about getting an artist. I don't want to cheat someone out of their work, but offering 50/50 doesn't seem fair since these are my characters. How should I go about offering a fair deal, since I want to make money off of this venture?
It'd be a complete reboot using the same characters and concepts, but that's about it. Mind you, I'm not looking for an artist right NOW; I'm still working out what kind of terms to offer someone as well as new story ideas and characterizations.
