Yes, another community project I want to start. That's right, I am insane enough to attempt two. An adventure set far into the future, an adventure in space like none other..
S.T.A.R.S means Space/Time Agency: Righteous Space. These are the people who keep peace in the universe and prevent things from breaking down. There's a problem from within however. Traitors, corruption within the ranks, has brought S.T.A.R.S to its knees, and evil forces threaten the very existence of time and space. Now a few veterans must team up with a slew of new cadets in a desperate bid to save reality.
You want to be an alien? A famous historical figure? Just some random guy? Then welcome aboard!
No set date yet, it certainly will not start at the same as War of the Bands. Though it will start sometime this year.
So, who wants to do something stupid for the sake of space and time?

S.T.A.R.S: An adventure in...SPACE-TIME!
Further information:
S.T.A.R.S will be set up as a sort of intergalatic police force, tasked with preventing interplanetary wars, and preventing people from traveling through time due to the risk of a possible 'Universal Split'. They are also the ones picking up the pieces from the last time someone successfully caused paradoxical time travel, most resulting in several time duplicates of people throughout history. Some duplicates are famous, others are ordinary, but all are having to deal with the fact they are in space, in the future, and that the people they are duplicates of are long dead, as well as all that they ever loved. Others are more excited though, space/future is pretty cool.
S.T.A.R.S has other troubles as well, namely, no one likes them, and many forces are trying to take them down, some from the inside.
Because they have no connections to any higher governing body, and are usually to busy to even think about doing something traitorous, the youthful new cadets on the force have been gathered up into a special inner police squadron. Basically, the main characters, cadets and a few veterans, are the policing the police and seeking to eradicate the traitorous element.
They're also trying to stop another attempt at paradoxical time travel.
Any specific questions? Cause all I got right now is this general idea.
Oh, and the S.T.A.R.S spaceships are yellow. YELLOW!
Heh, first thing that came to mind after hearing "Yellow Spaceships" Was like a ghetto New York Space Taxi :P
So we're like a slapstick version of Doctor Who? Awesome, me and a friend wanted to do something similar to this like four years ago, I am so in, especially since I watched Galaxy Quest Lastnight, Gogo Retro Sci Fi powers!!!
I'd like to submit the main character from my short lived Sci-Fi epic Son of Bin, purely cos I've been wanting to re-use him again, only in less a complex situation, speaking of, what are the rules on guns, cos Sob happens to carry round a bigass Rifle/Cannon, which is more like a Rifle, but it's bigger.

As for the rule on guns: Maxes out on weapons that can destroy one city block. There are bigger and more dangerous 'weapons' but those are off limits for cadets. A few are off limits for everyone (seriously, S.T.A.R.S has universe busting bombs!).
I just found the song that is perfect for being the theme song of this comic: "warriors of time" by black tide.Never heard it, but now I'm thinking of that odd time travel movie I saw with the kid and the dwarves…
And the phrase "Oh Warriors, come out and play".
Somehow, the imagery and phrase is epic in my mind…

Now I'm thinking of that film, I think it's Time Bandits, it was a Gilliam film, I know that much.
I didn't watch Doctor Who either, I'd go so far as to say it's shit but then I'd get leaped upon by Nerd Ninjas, I don't want to get leapt upon by Nerd Ninjas, they're all greasy and ewwwwwwww.
I also have to get my hands upon one of those guns, or those bombs, you know, whichever I can get my hands upon, I wanna be the guy responsible for the destruction of the Universe :P
I'm surprised this fell so far behind. I haven't forgotten or given up on it though in case you are wondering. To prove it, I made this!
The Laws of Time/Space Travel
1. One must never change time in such a way as to affect their own personal history due to the risk of universal split.
2. For this reason one is never allowed to travel to the past of their world or any world they have visited.
3. Nor is one allowed to exist in roughly the same area of space at the same period of time of oneself. Thus no one is allowed to meet with their past or future self.
4. The first three laws can, and have once been, broken due to 'special conditions.'
Universal Split - The universe's theorized possible system of correction for paradoxical history. The theory states that should a paradox of time occur the universe will try to correct itself by splitting into several alternate universes. However, due to the Laws of Conservation of Mass and Energy, matter and energy can neither be created nor destroyed and thus all possible alternate universes that would result from such a split would lack the full matter of energy and matter from the previous universe. Such alternate universes, with only half or less the matter and energy of the current universe, are unsustainable. Thus the universe's way of correcting for paradoxical history is by destroying itself and all life within. Though only a theory, the consequence is too great to risk and so the Laws of Time/Space Travel were made.

What is that? Why, it is a forum! That I just made!
For this.
I have too much free time.
Alright folks, I'm not quite ready to let this die.
I want to get this thing started by…wait for it…Halloween.
That's next month. I need a list of everyone interested in this thing currently and a volunteer to play assistant. We need some story ideas, got to get the first arc in order. We want to make this the best damned yellow spaceship flying time traveling rookie cadets thing on the Duck. Who's with me?
Let's go people, root for the home team, time to shake a leg!
What? I'm odd…
