Hello all! :cat:
I am silver fox_104, AKA "Katie". I'm from Texas and as long as I've been able to draw, I've always wanted to create a comic strip. I have never had the opportunities or technology to do so, but now I have access to a scanner, but not much time.
I'll probably start my comic strip about next year summer or fall. It's about an anthropomorphic silver fox who has just moved into her college dorm and is looking back at her years of high school with her roomate. It's closely based on my true, non-furry life.
Anywhoo, just wanted to let people know that there is a silver fox from Texas who will answer to the name "Katie".

Shy little fox coming out and saying "Hello!" :cat:
Welcome silver fox_104 AKA "Katie", you've come to the right place: the Duck is full of people like myself who plan to get that comic started, er, someday. Dreaming is half the fun; hope you enjoy your stay and get there in the end.
Incidentally Trout, who is that handsome chap you're now featuring in your avatar?

That would be Sir Daniel Fortesque.
Hiya Katie! I have not been here long but I think its still ok for me to say "Welcome to Drunk Duck!!!" This is an interesting place with lots of weird/awesome (or a combination of both) people. I hope you enjoy it here!
Also, let us all know when you get your comic going. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

That would be Sir Daniel Fortesque. Thanks for that link: anywhere "The stinking dead have risen up to dance with the lifeless living, and they want to do it over your dead body" is worth my while investigating.

Mousse, I'm not sure you should be calling Scarf a weirdo but whatever you need to do! :D And thanks, Shroom and I am pretty damn Awesome…
Katie, welcome to the duck… pull up your chair to the fire, pour yourself a drink (not too close to the fire now!) and get to work. There's plenty of paper and pencils! :D I look forward to checking out your work.
Gee whiz. Furries. Who'd think of putting a furry in a webcomic? A revolutionary idea, indeed!
Thanks for that link: anywhere "The stinking dead have risen up to dance with the lifeless living, and they want to do it over your dead body" is worth my while investigating. You know you want it.
Awww! It's nice to get such a warm welcome from everyone! Sad as it may seem, Custard Trout may be right, for a while. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I draw very slowly, but I'll try just roughly sketching and mainly worry about the dialog/punchline.
Cool to know I'm not the only Texan around here. I live in the southeastern/coastal region, in what part do ya'll live?
RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME: I LOVE to play the alto saxophone.
