Do you do imuv? the 3d im progam where you can customize your own room, decorate it to your own liking… chat with people, etc.
I just recently got back into it, but it seems that a lot of my friends has gone away from it, and I'm lonely =(

So do anybody go to IMUV?
You know, it really seems cool.
But unless there is a great motivation for me to do it, I really can't see signing myself up for yet another form of chat.
To put it simply, I'm just too lazy. ;)

Just because you guys see imvu ads around often doesn't mean I do or that other people do.
Anyway, it's no problem if people here doesn't want to join up… I guess I'll contuine to play dress up with my avatar until I see some of my friends come back on there. =) I've already seen one of my old friends appear back online.
I'd be willing to bet you can't kill people in it. As an American man, I only want games with murder. Anything that lacks at least some form of "bad guys" for me to "destroy" or at least some semblance of impending doom (like the sims), whats the fucking point?

And there's something better than killing people in it…. you can dress up like an bloodied, crazy homdical manaic and freak out people when you go on!! or make your avatar so strange-looking that people can't help but stare and go "okay, what the fuck is that?"
people are SO easy to freak out and mess around with on there. =3
and while you can't kill people, you can kick them in the groin, punch the hell out of them.. etc…..
I've kicked plenty of jerks in the groins only when they deserved it though.
of course you start out with some cheap-ass default stuff, but you can work your way into being an creepy-looking avtar or the most sexiest guy on imuv with the uses of Credits… and you don't even have to shell out money to get good stuff unlike that lame-ass second life. you can try to earn free credits everyday using spinfree (think of it as daily slots thing) and browsing new stuff everyday (which automically gives you from 50 to 100 credits). There's also the lottery and an game whre you try to hack into the bank as another way of earning credits.
I'll check it out, but I probably won't like it. It sounds like another version of Gaia online, which is one of the worst things online. So of course, it being terrible like Family Guy and American Idol, its popular. I'll check into it when I get some free-er time. I'm currently enjoying my xbox live too much to do chatting online.
I tried it…but only for a day. It's a nice idea…but in the end, it's a big chat. And chats suck. They are full of people who just want to know your "a/s/l" and go "OMG, WANA B MY G/F?"…or at least that's all I got out of it, I didn't find many people who just wanted to be silly like me. I'm not spending all my time being annoyed with people on there just to earn credits for the avatars.
Though yes, I'm sure it's a good IM to goof-off with friends with, if they have it. I…don't wanna though. XP

Yeah, I can understand that. that's why I don't do the "random chats" that they have… I mainly tend to stick only with friends who I can goof off with.
the only time I would do a random chat is to screw around with those people when bored. as I said before, those people are so easy to pull an "wtf moment" back on them.
like when one dude asked me if I would be his G/F, I said something to the effect of: "really?!! you're asking me?! omg!!! And here I was starting to think that imvu wasn't some dating service what with all the lame people only wanting to chat and goof off. Okay, if you're gonna be my boyfriend…. you need to start cutting yourself, because I love an bloody guy…. even better if he's dead, snice I'm into nerophilica!"

If course, you'd get me as a friend on there so you wouldn't really be alone on there, but snice we don't know each other that well maybe it's just as well.
Ah, I used to use IMVU, my avatar looks like the offspring of a stereotypical homosexual and a large tin of blue paint.
I still use it from time to time, but only when I'm bored and want to annoy random strangers.
If I remember right, I currently look like The Mask.
