The descriptions of the symbols include some of their uses in magics and are not inclusive. These symbols are sometimes associated with certain gods or powerful beings. They also are used by the Mage in order to cast their magics. You may also have seen them spoken by Warring Clansmen, who have passed the Soldier's Initiation. It should be noted that they themselves cannot speak the symbols - that knowledge has been lost to humans, but the demons within the ink that gives the Warring Clansmen their powers can speak the symbols.
