Issue 8! Here's where things get crazy.
This is also Month Thirteen for the webcomic (which is now THE comic), which is a nice milestone.
For those of you who don't know, I run a website called "Monsters And Nekkid Ladies", because those are the two things I love to draw the most. That's gonna show this issue. :)

May 2008: KISS 4K issue 8
In my spare time, I like to work on album art for other bands. Here are two pieces that were a lot of fun to draw:
The first is for an upcoming album called "Incubation" by Necropharmacon:
And this one is for the Kiss tribute band KLOWN, and their upcoming "Klown Alive II":
Adam, I'm loving the comic. I was wondering though, Where can i get my grubby mitts on the print edition issues that were already released, ideally in a digital format (i'm an "instant gratification" kind of guy). I'm not saying a torrent or something, i mean like a digital purchase. Sorry, I'm kind of rambling.

Oops! I totally missed this the first time you posted it.
You can get all the print issues in PDF format at www.wowio.com. The coolest thing about it is: They're free!
A note about Celestial's hand:
When I found out I was going to take over the comic, I went back to the original concept art and character notes, in order to brush up. In the original concept drawing for Celestial, he has this funky right hand that shows a space motif just like the inside of his cloak. I call it his "Cosmic Hand".
I got reading through the previous issues, and realized that no one was drawing this Cosmic Hand. Which was too bad, I thought–it's a cool effect. So, when I started up issue 7, I started drawing it in again.
I figure he uses this hand when he needs to channel the universe inside his cloak into a more focused presence to work on the world outside the cloak. He uses it to that effect twice in issue 7: once when he intervened on Lester's behalf during that argument she was having with the Demon, and again when he knocked Demon away from him when they were both floating around inside the cloak.
This is a very long way of saying: there really is no glove. I'm just the first guy (I think!) who's actually drawn the Cosmic Hand he was supposed to have from the beginning. I'm not sure the other artists really got to see the concept art–that happens all the time. Ever notice how you'll buy a paperback novel with the main characters on the front, and they don't hardly match the descriptions in the novels? Yeah. Same thing. Not the artist's fault.
So, I suppose, in a Marvel No-Prize sort of way, we can explain the sudden appearance of the Cosmic Hand as a natural evolution of Celestial. As he gets more comfortable being who he is, it changes him.
In fact, you'll be seeing more of that as the story progresses.
Hey, do you know if it's possible to get the print comic in Australia?
And the wowio thing sounded great, until I tried to download it and it said you can't outside the US.
We saved your ass in World War II. The least you could do is let us read KISS comics!
(BTW I'm studying World War II in History right now. That's how I know.)
You guys did a great job helping us out in VietNam, too! I'm currently reading about Vietnam history for a side project. :)
Wowio still won't let non-US residents download comics?!? Argh! I thought they'd fixed that by now.
Let me see what I can do on this end, man. Might not be much (or anything!), but I'll definitely look into it.
Thanks for the background on Celestials glove. I like that you went over the original concept stuff 'cos there were a lot of cool ideas that the original writer and artists had that somehow never came through or got developed in the print run.
I think in some ways because the series concept is so huge (bringing together all the previous continuities while forging ahead with the new stuff) it was just too much for many readers to take in. I like that you're bringing some of the lost elements back in gradually without sacrificing the natural flow of the storyline…its a difficult balance but you're definitely succeeding. I don't know how you manage to keep up the pace as you do, you're amazing. Have a great holiday, man you deserve it!
Thanks, Andy! High praise indeed. I appreciate it.
I found out some information regarding Kiss comics in Oz, thanks to the Kiss Army in Australia. You can find some K4K goodness at these locations:
