I have now checked that this is to be used as a blog on the homepage.

I would give my right pinky for some documentation of the variables on this site that was worth any salt. As it is, discovering how to make things work here is a very, very painful process. Extremely painful. I do believe my brain is starting to bleed out of my ears just looking for something as simple as the 'homepage URL' variable - which apparently does not exist. Oh, joy. This post needs to be long, very long. La, la la. Length expander. Length expander. The End.

So, checking 'create blog' and 'use forum as blog' makes a nice kind of news-post replacement. This is a comment tag to the original post. I believe it will not be shown on the front page; instead, readers will be shunted to the DD forum to read the commentary (or add their own) right here.

Hmm, I do wonder how you get more than one forum item at a time on the front page, or if that's even possible.
