Let's see… what's happened in the last month and a half… work, taxes, visiting relatives. Saw a lot of great shows and a lot of mediocre ones, but I still haven't gotten out to the Watchmen movie yet.

The first chapter of Misfire Reactional is up, and the second is right on its heels. The style is a bit different, particularly in the dialogue, and I've gotten pretty secure in when to use which brush tip. Unlike with the first chapter I didn't write the text directly on the sketches, so the images are much cleaner and fuller in the frame, but at the same time the text can get crowded at points. I can proudly say that by chapter 3 I've gotten that under control.

As promised, here are the new stats.

Time elapsed since comic debut (1/1/2009): 93 days.
Pages posted: 32.
Average days per page: 2.91.

Time elapsed since start of work (10/26/2008): 160 days.
Pages planned: 196 (26.8%) (0.82 days per page)
Pages sketched: 86 (11.7%) (1.86)
Pages drawn: 85 (11.6%) (1.88)
Pages complete: 69 (9.4%) (2.32)
Pages posted: 32 (4.4%)

It looks like my completion rate is on pace with my planned updates. Chapter 2 is in the can and will go up at 3 pages per week. Chapter 3 will most likely be the same.

Look forward to the next stats update in a couple of months, and as always, thank you for reading.
