I draw a lot of incentive pictures for the TWC voting button (always a good thing to click on, so if you haven't click on it today, please do!)
But a friend of mine raised the good point that people might want to see some of this bonus art after it had been replaced on the voting incentives.
So I've put together a collection of incentive images for you all to enjoy.
These are a pretty random grab bag, including some early, uncoloured versions of images that later appeared in the comic. Enjoy!

Incentive Pictures
Wow.. a lot of this answers some of the questions I've held about the oft-mentioned but thus far unseen races of Harkovast, and now to begin a step by step commentary.
Brorg-Dao: Oooh, vikings, very nice, very far removed from the clockwork efficency of the Tsung-Dao… though I got to wonder, if the uberpeaceful and ordered lifestyle of the Tsun-Dao has caused thier developements to slow down, then would the Brorg-Dao have advanced since the split?
Ivos: Wild boars… very nice. Veerry nice. And roman themed, even. I love boars, and seeing that there's a representitive of the nasty buggers in this comic fills me with glee.
Golta: Interesting outfit on the female… would that be what they wear when they're NOT mercs selling thier services to others?
The Nameless Race:… you know, I once quipped about these guys being grown in a vat somewhere, but after this picture I think I have a better idea of what thier deal is… and its freaky.
Dalya: Now THIS is a bit of conundrum… the outfit and flintlock leads me to think Golta, but she is quite obviously a feline. Half Caste, then? And if she is with the Golta, why would they need "Witch Finders" then?
The Evils In General: Yeeeesh….and here I thought The Speaker was a freaky piece of work. Where does the King find these guys, Psychos R' Us?
I keep referencing this stuff, and expecting you guys to remember stuff I posted for one week over a year ago is really unfair!
The Brorg-Doa are more advanced in some ways, but they are certainly a lot more adventerous and out going towards other cultures (though often they are out going in the "raiding and stealing your stuff" sense!)
Ivos- Ivos rule. Nuff said.
Golta- The females outfit was based on the helmets worn by 18th century cavalry, with the addition of a shield. Golta tend to wear the three corned hats and coats all the time, both in war and peace. The female here is a picked trooper, and so is dressed in a professional military attire, rather than the regular clothes the male has on.
The Nameless- Feel free to speculate, I am saying nothing…
Dalya- Dalya wont be in the comic for a while, but she is a total bad ass and I look forward to her introduction greatly.
The Evils- Damn I love these guys (and girls!) The title says it all, these guys are about as bad as its gets!
I remember the Skyman and the Harvester, and I remember the captions of Evil of [This or That], but why didn't I connect them to the Great Evils we hear about from time to time? I really feel foolish now!
So the picked troops wear armor and helmets? Damn, I was hoping for wool greatcoats and hobnail boots! Sure it won't protect you, but you stay warm and look sharp too!
I think I'll have to agree with you, even though I hate squirrels with a fiery passion.
I also like that triple-gun the general has there, too bad she doesn't have cap-and-ball revolver though, that would be so much lighter. Although it reminds me of the novelty of a quadruple-barrel shotgun :)
The Skyman Evil person makes me think of America in the late 19th century/early 20th century. Its the darn top hat is what it is… Though that was a time period when it was all about the future and progress. More technological change came out of that period than we have seen in a long time.
I also notice that the Ivos fellow didn't have really noticeable tusks. Is that because they grind them down to make the helmet fit better? If not, I think it would be interesting to see how they use the tusks. I could see tusks being coloured, dyed, or whatever, as a method of identifying a squad within a century or something like that. The Romans were all about the organization of troops, and I'd assume the Ivos are the same.
The lack of tusks is because…thats the way I drew him.
Yeah, that was just how he came out as that was one of the first Ivos I ever drew.
How much Ivos in the comic will look like that is hard to say.
However, Ivos tusks are pretty small, the Panvos have much more prominent tusks.
(Gotta love name dropping stuff that has not featured yet!)
