In Canada, as well as many other countries, there are very strict rules against vigilanteism; and for a very good reason too. During many ages such as the Wild West, the Rennesaince, the Dark Ages, we've seen examples of the dangers of vigilanteism. When people become vindictive instead of looking for justice to be done we often see them acting worse than the criminal they're catching. Many innocent lives have been lost due to vigilantes who thought they had the right crook so there's very good reason to have rules against vigilanteism, but does that mean that if we see something wrong done before us we shouldn't do anything?
