I've been following X Hope in Oblivion by Mic Ander Official (https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/X_Hope_in_Oblivion/5705182/).
Just figured out what X Hope in Oblivion reminds me of.
Although quite a bit different the comic "Rock Opera" by Rod Kierkegaard Jr. somehow comes to mind. It ran in the late 1970s and early 1980s in Heavy Metal Magazine.
