Hey everyone! I'm Keitaurin, a 19 year-old college student completely new to the Drunk Duck community.

What got me here actually was a recent interest in a comic that isn't even hosted on this website, to be honest. I was reading Lightbringer over on Comic Genesis, found out that my favorite light-bright internet superhero was a participant in last year's "crossoverlord", loved it, and here I am.

I've been working on ideas for a story of my own, but I'm nervous about how to put it into a comic format if I were to put it up on drunk duck. My art skills aren't bad, per-se, but I often have trouble with proportions on human beings, many of my characters come off to me as stick-like, and while I'm trying to pull away from it I find myself habitually going straight for the anime eye effect, which never looks good to begin with for me but I'm not better at much else.

Damn the Japanese. I love their art style but I hate that I draw in that way. XD

In any case, I hope to be reading other people's comics and becoming more active on the site as things move along.

Welcome to DD! Don't worry, people are usually pretty fair commenting on your work here. Put stuff up when you like!

And concerning the Japanese - well, I love their hostess bars, but I hate the fact that they don't have them here in the US. ;)

Hello.

as for putting stuff up, just do it. People here are really helpful, no one will say you're shit. They may say stuff like, it's not great but keep going or give you very useful advice.
You will only get better by doing it.
