I can't find the "help wanted" forum...

if you create a help wanted forum, that would be the best place for this topic, but since there isn't one I can find, I'm posting it here.

I'm looking to start Gene back up, but I don't have the time or patience to draw it anymore. I love writing the strips, but drawing them sucks all the fun out of it for me, because i agonize about my linework. (I'm not one of these people that can just draw a line where i want it the first time. I envy you if you are.)

My writing influences for strips include Calvin & Hobbes (who's doesn't?) Bloom County, Fox Trot and to a lesser extent , The Far Side. I tend to stick to working out six strip micro stories, with (hopefully) a joke a day, within an ongoing free flowing continuity.

If this sounds like something you would like to invest a little time in, look around my site for reference, then submit some renditions of my characters and I'll get back to you.
