A friend and I have recently (within the last year) released a browser-based role-playing game with a superhero/supervillain theme. The game is very much text-based, and we are looking for artists to compliment the script.

Unfortunately, because of the nature of the game and the amount of potential artwork that could be used in the game, we are unable to afford to pay for an artist in these early stages. However, we have a few things to offer in exchange for artwork:

(1) Each image used in the game can be associated with a link. This is one way to pull in our customers to your work(s).
(2) We will provide you the opportunity for a free banner ad rotated with the other ads available on our site and (if you'd like) on the parent-company site (Pegamoose Games).
(3) We are working on establishing a wiki page that coincides with the game content. Once this is established, you may have a wiki page dedicated to you and your works (three cheers for bragging rights).

There are several events in the game which are descriptive blocks of text. We would like to compliment these with artwork. A single panel picture that corresponds with the text. We will approve the use of the picture (so that it isn't offensive, too abstract or of low quality), but all artists reserve all rights to their art. And, you may ask us to pull the artwork at any time.

If you're interested, you can either go to the website (urbanlegions.net) and try out the game, or we can email you the text of the events. We would love any of the text areas to have accompanying artwork, like a single panel still picture. We especially would like to have artwork for the tutorial events (since these will be the first few events new users will encounter).

The pictures can be color or b&w. Preferable complimentary to the text, not so much for abstract.

If you want to try the game, it provides a block of 20 Turns for free each day. But, if you need a better feel for the game, we can provide a code exchangeable for a larger block of Turns. We typically send similar blocks to reviewers.
